Rhonwyn "Rhonnie" Patricia [Tracey] King, 79, of Danbury, CT, passed away in her home on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Rhonnie, was the wife of Robert "Bob" King and the daughter of James and Mary [Johns] Tracey of Johnstown, PA. She is preceded in death by her mother and her father, a WWI veteran serving the Fighting 69th Rainbow Division and owner of Tracey Jewelry Store in Johnstown, in addition to Sisters Mary Margaret, Johanna, Eloise, her brother James, and her beloved poodle, Spender.

Rhonwyn "Rhonnie" Patricia [Tracey] King, 79, of Danbury, CT, passed away in her home on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Rhonnie, was the wife of Robert "Bob" King and the daughter of James and Mary [Johns] Tracey of Johnstown, PA. She is preceded in death by her mother and her father, a WWI veteran serving the Fighting 69th Rainbow Division and owner of Tracey Jewelry Store in Johnstown, in addition to Sisters Mary Margaret, Johanna, Eloise, her brother James, and her beloved poodle, Spender.

Rhonnie was born on June 17, 1937, in Johnstown, PA. She graduated Johnstown Senior High School, Class of 1955, and then continued her academic studies where she earned her degree at Cambria-Rowe Business College. Rhonnie was the cherished wife of Bob for 60 years. They met in 1951, married on July 14th, 1956, and moved immediately to Alaska, where Bob served in the United States Air Force with the 433rd Fighter Interceptor Squadron. For the last 40 years, they created a lifetime of memories in Danbury, CT as well as traveling abroad with dear friends. Her deepest passions were being a devoted wife, and tending to her picturesque garden and home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by David and Fran King, several nieces and nephews including the Johnstone family: Richard, Brooke, and Tracey; the Musselman family: Paula, Bill, Mary, the Goggin family: Nan, Beth and Jack; John Tracey Morton along with her extended family; the Karagianes and McGarrigal families of Danbury, CT, and many more close friends.

Family will receive friends from 4:30-8:30pm on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Green's Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT. A celebration of life will be held at Green Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 8:00p pm. A second service will be held from 4:00-8:00pm on Sunday, June 18th at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street Johnstown, PA. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 19th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 111 Willow Street, Johnstown, PA. Following mass, she will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery, 801 Millcreek Road, Johnstown, PA.
