Joanne P. Lynch, 75 of Danbury, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday March 29th. Joanne was born in New York, daughter of the late John and Edith Powell.

Joanne graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx and worked for the City of Danbury's Risk Management Department for many years. She also served as the president of the Danbury Municipal Employees Association.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Lynch of Danbury and is survived by her twin sister, Suanne Powell of NC, three sons, Brian Lynch and his...

Joanne P. Lynch, 75 of Danbury, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday March 29th. Joanne was born in New York, daughter of the late John and Edith Powell.

Joanne graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx and worked for the City of Danbury's Risk Management Department for many years. She also served as the president of the Danbury Municipal Employees Association.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Lynch of Danbury and is survived by her twin sister, Suanne Powell of NC, three sons, Brian Lynch and his wife Marina, Jeffrey Lynch, David Lynch and his wife Kelly, and two grandchildren, Rachel and Michael.

The family wishes to thank Elizabeth for the care and respect she showed Joanne over the past year.

The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Tuesday March 31st from 6 until 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, Danbury, Wednesday, April 1st at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
